Launch First Priority

Thank-you for your interest in joining with others all across America and the world in Raising Leaders, Reaching a Generation, and Restoring our Nation. Even though at its core, First Priority is students reaching students, as an organization First Priority of America does not exist to start Clubs.  We exist to help the body of Christ unite around the local schools to start an organization.

This is accomplished through the Four Phase Process; Discovery, Decision, Direction, and Development. If you would like to know more about this process and how you can be a part of seeing it happen in your community please click on the Phase Bars below to learn more, and then fill out the Contact Form so that a representative from First Priority of America can follow up with you.

DISCOVERY

Phase I
DISCOVERY
Understanding First Priority and Creating
Local Interest in Your Community

Interest

First Priority of America will provide individuals in a community with information to understand the First Priority Vision.  They will begin to take some basic steps moving forward by filling out the ‘Diagnostic’ and defining a target area.  A Point Person will build a team, begin local interest meetings with people representing the Essential Networks (Students, Teachers, Parents, Church Leaders, and Business / Community Leaders), and ultimately host a ‘First Priority Vision Casting Meeting’.

Vision Casting

First Priority will guide a city through planning and hosting a Vision Casting Event including a support base over 70 local people representing each of the Essential Networks.

A community wide support and leadership base for all levels of networking and structure will begin to come together: Local Board, School Leadership, Essential Networks, and Giving.

Discovery Tools provided by FPOA:
Phase 1 Guide, City Diagnostic, FAQ, Interest PowerPoint Presentation, Initiation Team Training, Promotional Videos, Brochures, www.fpoa.org

DECISION

Phase II
DECISION
Identifying Leaders and Building Structure

Initiation

First Priority will guide the local leadership team through the Initiation process:

1. Setting up a local 501c3 non-profit First Priority Organization
2. Establishing a Covenant Led Local Board
3. Organizational Training
4.  Implementing the Goals Template
5.  Raising a Budget
6.  Hiring a Director
7.  Prepping for Basic Training

Decision Tools provided by FPOA:
Statement of Faith, Core Values, Governing Principles, Board Covenant, FPOA Covenant, Sample Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, Budget, Board Setup, Job Descriptions, Goals Template

DIRECTION

Phase III
DIRECTION
Equipping Leaders and
Implementing the Strategy

Basic Training

This event will be the ministry training needed to begin First Priority clubs in a community.  With the help of First Priority of America, they will lead an event that will give Inspiration, Instruction, and Resources for Students, Teachers, Parents, and Church Leaders to understand their rolls and responsibilities in building a successful First Priority Ministry.

Each network will know and understand its vital role in the FP strategy.  The Leadership team in and around each school will be trained and given the opportunity to know how they will implement FP.

Implementation

Following the Basic Training, the local organization will launch the First Priority strategy in their city including four strategically linked networks and a ministry on each of the targeted campuses.

Direction Tools provided by FPOA:
Network Guides for Priority Parents, Church Leaders, Business Leaders, Faculty Sponsors, ACTS Revolution, FISH Cycle and PowerPoints to train each.

DEVELOPMENT

Phase IV
DEVELOPMENT
Trial and Growth

Certified City

First Priority of America has a standard for a city to be considered certified.  After going through the first 3 phases of FPOA, seeing God establish a core team surrounded by the essential networks, and holding the basic training event to get your leadership the tools needed to launch campus ministry, FPOA would like to see ‘local church campus evangelism’ at the targeted schools become grounded and expansion begun to the surrounding area.  Expansion is the key because healthy bodies grow and become stronger.  FP is the body of Christ coming together, it needs to grow.  At that point, FPOA will recognize you as a ‘Phase 4 Certified City’.

City Services

First Priority of America will continue to help you develop, train, and build for future success.  We are here to help in the good times and bad; training, resourcing, and intervening for the Kingdom of God.

Development Tools provided by FPOA:
Mission and vision casting, mentoring, training, programs and events, resources, partnerships, fund development, association and branding, communication, quality control.
